Finally! New Upcoming Outfit for Josefina!

At LONG LONG LONG last, it looks like the lovely Beforever character Josefina will finally get a new outfit. This outfit leaked on eBay and I can't imagine who else it could be for aside from Josefina. ^_~ No idea yet on when it will be released, but my guess is later this fall or perhaps even next spring (I hope it won't be so long though). Since it's a live eBay auction, I won't be posting the link til it is over.

The *BANG* bright colors is fitting with the Beforever revamped goals.

I am confused by the lime green rebozo though. O.o It doesn't seem... accurate to the time in regards to the color or material? If anyone knows otherwise, please enlighten me! I'm guessing they were going for a silk look? 

The embroidery on the camisa is beautiful! But you all know I'm a sucker for embroidery details. ^_^

The skirt by itself is really beautiful!

I would be shocked if these shoes actually go with this outfit. My guess is this belongs to another outfit and was just thrown with this outfit by the seller.

I do not think these shoes belong with this outfit either and once again were thrown in to this lot by the seller.

I like the bright colors of this outfit, though I wish we could get a long sleeved camisa for Josefina's winter adventures. :D Either way, I'm just so happy to see her getting something new at long last! I'm a completionist when it comes to outfits for the historical girls so this will definitely be coming home with me. ^_^

Leaked Photos of Coat for Beforever Melody or Truly Me

Wickfield on AGPT recently shared the link to an eBay auction showing what appears to be an upcoming coat set. I have no idea if it will be for the 1960s Beforever character Melody (rumored to be released in August), or if it will part of the Truly Me line for their fall release.

The faux fur cap reminds me exactly of Samantha's white winter hat in construction. It seems like AG might be recycling ideas some more.

The gloves are what lead me to think this is more likely for Melody, even though we didn't see this coat during the reveal. It could be for a later release for her, as I can't recall any Truly Me modern outfits coming with the short gloves like this. 

Either way, no matter what line it's for, I think it's a beautiful coat set and would definitely want to add it to my collection. ^_^

Photos of Leaked New Truly Me Pomeranian PJs

Last year when we were still snooping for tidbits about the Girl of the Year 2016 Lea Clark left and right, one of the leaks that appeared were a pair of pajamas with a Cheshire Cat looking face printed on the shirt. It was eventually dispelled as Lea's, when we found out the green parrot rompers were her actual PJs. However, since then, quite a few of us have wondered if this factory prototype was just that, a prototype, or if it would ever be produced and released. 

Recently, cdaizybug on AGPT shared the link to a finished eBay auction showing what looks to be the "final" version of what started out as the Cheshire Cat PJs prototype we saw last year. It seems the cat PJs were just a prototype with the cat face as a graphic "placeholder" and the pants made from scrap fabric (from the fabric used to make the meet dress for Lea's mini doll). The final version shows a Pomeranian dog where the Chershire cat's face was, and the pants made with a teal paw print patterned fabric. 

I do not know when these will be released or if this is even the final version but my guess is this is the final product and it will be released this fall.

The eyes looks a little strange but I think the embroidered matching dogs on the slippers are a cute touch!

I know there were quite a few people who really liked the Cheshire Cat graphic and will be disappointed it is not being used. 

Front of the pajama pants. On the back, there is the standard AG ego tag. 

It looks like the PJs set will come with 2 matching elastics for your doll's hair.

Overall, this is not my favorite PJs set created by AG and I will not be picking it up, though I do think the slippers are cute.

Comparison of Potential Ballet Outfit & Mia's Performance Outfit

Yesterday, we shared the leaked photos from eBay of what appears to be a new turquoise ballet outfit for the Truly Me line. A fellow AG collector was able to purchase the outfit and took several detailed photos along with comparison photos with the 2008 Girl of the Year Mia's Performance Outfit and kindly gave us permission to share them here. ^_^

The length of the skirts on both of these seem about the same. Mia's outfit has an assymetrical shoulder design. The ballet outfit looks to be a slightly brighter turquoise, with a symmetrical 3 tiered tulle skirt.

The skirt is made from stiff tulle and the top layer is covered with spray on glitter which can shed. :D You have been warned!

The flowers are all individually sewn on. It looks like they can be removed but I would be worried about them leaving unsightly holes in the bodice. 

Regular velcro closure in the back. Be careful of snags in the stretchy bodice material and tulle skirt! XD

Close up of the matching headband. The strange bow loop in the back of the headband could either be intentional or a factory defect.

Close up of the ballet shoes. They are elastic with simple string bows decorating them.

Overall, despite not being a big dance person myself, I really like this outfit! I'm biased since turquoise is one of my favorite colors, and I can never resist a good sparkle. ^_~ However, as to whether I'll purchase it or not, that remains to be seen. Currently, I already own Mia's Performance Outfit and feel the two are too similar for me to justify getting the ballet outfit, and to be honest, I do like Mia's outfit better because of the way the skirt is layered and because I love the embroidery detail on the bodice. However, if I didn't already have Mia's outfit, I would be hard pressed to pass up this ballet set! Here's hoping it will be one outfit, and not split into 2 again. :)

Photos of Upcoming Ballet Outfit for Truly Me

Quick Update: I am tied down this summer studying for my baord examinations so I am unable to post near as much as I would like. ^_^ Thank you to those of you who have messaged me and checked up on me. I really appreciate your concern and kind wishes! That being said, I have a few updates in the next few dates on new leaks that I'll try to get posted. 

This turquoise blue ballet/dance outfit leaked on eBay recently, and I saw Aurora share the link on AGPT, where she kindly allowed me to share the link here. Most likely this will be for the Truly Me line and be part of a fall release. (This is just my guess.)

The outfit reminds me very strongly of the 2008 Girl do the Year, Mia's Performance Outfit, with a hint of Rebecca's Costume Chest pieces. I prefer Mia's overall (I'm a sucker for embroidery details) but I do admit I love turquoise and think this outfit is lovely. A wonderful fellow AG fan was able to win the auction for this outfit and take several detail and comparison photos of this outfit which she has given me permission to share on L&L. I am in the process of watermarking them and will get them posted tomorrow! ^_^
