Mini Josie at March Field Air Museum in Riverside, CA

Today Savannah took me to the March Field Air Museum. We saw a lot of planes and military stuff!

Here is a monument to Lt. Gen James Doolittle. He was an aviation pioneer. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for valor and leadership.

There were so many planes we didn't know where to start! Here I am in the main museum.

They had a NASA section in the air museum.

Here we are on a red F-4.

Here we are on a T-38 (I think)

I couldn't help myself. I decided to climb up this thing!

Here I am on a pretty cool helicopter.

 Check out this jeep!

Gosh it was getting hot on that truck/jeep.

My host thinks this is an OH-6. It looks like it could seat a few people.

This jeep reminds me of that old show M.A.S.H.

The field was covered with planes. Did you know that they filmed the movie Top Gun here?

Look what we saw! Amelia Earhart. There is actually a school near here called that.

Look! There is a woman in the plane!

I can't believe this big piece of metal can get off the ground. I can see the controls!

Savannah was posing while I was checking out this plane.

Gosh, this is actually a very small plane. I look so tiny!

After our tour we got to get a gift from the shop and Savannah got me a little plane as a souvenir! I can't wait to show everyone when I get back home!
