Store Photos of Truly Me Dolls 54, 62, 63, & 64

Dolls

#54
Changed from Jess to Ivy mold

You can tell from the notches on the outside corners of the eyes this is now the Ivy mold, which had previously only been used by Ivy.

#40 and #30 still use the Jess mold, which do not out have outside notches or tinting of the notches. The Jess mold only has notches on the inside (nose side) of the eyes.

Close up of #40's Jess mold face.

#62
Sonali mold
Medium vinyl
Brown hair (medium length)
Amber eyes (pinwheel like #26)

Back of #62's hair. It is mid back, and nicely thick. I would describe it as very lightly textured, if at all with subtle highlights in certain lights.

#62 Comparison Photos:

Right: #26
Both of these dolls have the amber eyes, and are the only two dolls to use this color. Both are medium vinyl colored. #62 has the Sonali mold while #26 has the Addy mold.

Both #62 and #46 have the Sonali mold. #62 is the medium dark vinyl and #46 is the dark vinyl color. #46 also has the dark brown eyes.

#63
Classic mold
Light vinyl
Blond hair (medium length)
Blue eyes (regular pinwheel blue)

Her hair is not layered and goes to shoulder length. It didn't feel very thick when I squeezed it, but it wasn't balding thin either.

#64
Ivy mold
Light vinyl
Dark brown hair (mid back length)
Brown eyes (pinwheel dark brown)

Her hair is held back here with the dark brown braided headband.

You can see her eyes have the notches on the outer (ear side) and inner (nose side) of the eyes with slight tinting to add shadow and depth. This is different from the Jess mold which does not have the notch/cut out on the outside corner of the eye (ear side) and does not have any tinting.

As of now, Ivy, #54, and #64 are the only 3 dolls to have used this mold.

The back of her hair. You can see it is mid back length, feels decently thick, (more than #30), and dark brown, almost black with no highlighting, and is not layered.

Overall, I am very pleased with the variety offered in the new dolls, and I am thrilled to see Ivy's mold used again, despite my fear that it would be abandoned since Ivy did not sell well. This really gives me hope that we may see the Marie-Grace or #4 mold used again in the future. I think it would have been extremely exciting if #64 was medium or dark vinyl colored.

  1. Thank you for showing the back of the dolls. I always want to see how their hair looks from the back, and AG never shows it.

By the way, your photos of #62 make her look even better than the ones on the AG site. I thought my collection was complete, but now I may have to get her. And I'm really surprised that they gave #64 Ivy's face. It makes me feel that I should get one of the Jess mold dolls before they all get changed. But definitely #62 first!

    1. Oh I'm so glad I took those then! They were sort of an after thought, but I hoped people would be curious about their length so I am happy to hear you found them useful!

Thank you! I think #62 and #64 are beautiful and they really grew on me while I was at the store! :)

  2. I officially have no choice but to get 62 and 64. They're both so cute! I came up with backstories before I saw them, oops.

  3. Thanks for sharing all of the close-ups and comparisons! I hadn't realized that they were as distinct as they seem to actually be based on the promotional photos, so those very very helpful.

  5. As exciting as it is to see the Ivy mold used again, I was even more excited over #62 having amber eyes :D I didn't know if they would ever be used again. This gives me hope that other rare colors will be used again, like gray and decal brown.

Thank you for such awesome doll pics, especially from all angles. I was wondering about #62's hair, since some people weren't too impressed with it. Looks good enough to me so far, but if I end up not liking it much, there's always rewigging.

    1. The amber eyes are really exciting! I keep hoping grey will be used again, and Saige's turquoise, MG's aquamarine, and now Caroline's sea foam! :D I think #62's wig is quite nice, and feels soft, but as you said, there's always rewigging! :D

    2. Yes! I would love to see all of those eyes reused. I just hope they wouldn't be used too often since they are pretty special already, and I wouldn't want them to lose that. I remember when hazel was only used for one set of AG eyes (#21), and now they're EVERYWHERE. lol

    3. Hahaha! Hazel eyes are everywhere! I'm still apprehensive that AG will decide to give Maryellen hazel eyes. XD
