Photos of GOTY 2016 Lea Clark Green Parrot Romper on Dolls

A while back, we posted about a leaked Green Tropical Parrot Romper for next year's 2016 Girl of the Year, Lea Clark. Recently, a follow collector has sent us some photos of the romper modeled on her doll for us to share.

The green seems brighter and more saturated than it appeared in the eBay photos. 

I originally thought the background of the romper was white, but now I can see the background is actually a light green. I like this a lot, and it makes the outfit less "kiddy" and "crazy" for me.

I don't think the bow is a functional bow and I believe the outfit is all in one piece, though it would be neat if the tank top and shorts part were separate. 

Lea Clark's ego tag. ^_^ Gotta have that ego.

Kanani is wearing the romper in this photo and I think she looks just stunning in it! The colors are very flattering on her and I'm excited to see how they will compliment the Lea doll. 

Caroline came as a surprise to me. I was not expecting to like the outfit on her and imagined that the bold, bright colors would wash out her light coloring. However, I am very pleased to be wrong. I think it looks lovely on her (though I do prefer it on Kanani more). The green of the romper seems to bring out the green in her eyes. This romper is really growing on me now that I've seen it modeled on a doll. Kudos to AG for creating a piece that is flattering on a wide variety of doll phenotypes!
My vote? I'm putting this one down in the "most likely will buy but preferably on sale" category.

    I do like it better on dolls, but the fit isn't very flattering. I think it's the neckline.

      I think after the swimsuit neckline, all other necklines look incredibly flattering in comparison to me. :D

      That's actually exactly what I am planning on doing! My Lindsey is my Girl of All Years doll and I think this would look so good on her. ^_^

    I LOVE this romper! It looks great on Caroline and Kanani, this is probably my favorite part of her collection!

    Hmm... it seems rather similar to the tiedye "cover up" dress. But I'll admit, it looks stunning on both Caroline and Kanani! I feel like a lot of Lea Clark's collection fits Kanani's style. ;)

      I thought so too, but this is a romper and the neckline/straps just looks so much more flattering for me. ^_^ Both Lea and Kanani are in warm, tropical climates so it makes sense their styles are similar, though I think Jess is the most similar to Lea. :)
