Photos of Pink/Yellow Tunic Outfit for GOTY 2016 Lea Clark on Dolls

A fellow collector has sent me photos of the Yellow/Pink Tunic Top Outfit (rumored to be for Girl of the Year 2016, Lea Clark) on her dolls and some close up images of the details to share here. The outfit is modeled on Kanani & Truly Me #33 dolls.

It looks like the designs go all the way around the sleeves though not on the back of the shirt.

The denim shorts have a basic design which is great because they can be paired with numerous other outfits.

On the back of the shorts you can see the Lea Clark ego tag. I'm disappointed there aren't pockets on the back because that would have made a lot of sense for shorts.

Love these sandals! They are my favorite part of this outfit and look both detailed, well made, and unique. I think they have the bonus of looking good with any of Lea's clothing.

I think the outfit is pretty generic and standard, but I do like how it looks on both #33 and Kanani, though I prefer it on Kanani. Right now, I'm still not 100% certain this top is for Lea because it seems hard for me to imagine her in long sleeves in the Amazon, especially since the rest of her outfits are sleeveless (except for her short sleeve Explorer/Hiking outfit). However, if this is part of her collection, I do think it is flattering. 
My vote? I put it in the "Will buy if on sale" category. ^_^

    I really like this outfit! It looks so gorgeous on Kanani and #33! I just hope it isn't too expensive because I need to buy doll furniture for my new dollhouse. Thanks for posting!

    I agree about not being sure that the shirt is part of the outfit - its color scheme doesn't seem to match the sandals.

      That also occurred to me as well. At this point, I am about 95% sure it's for Lea just because this outfit set has been leaked so many times on eBay already but I agree that the colors of the top don't match the colors in her sandals.

    I really like this outfit! The shirt seems like it would go well with Julie, too, even if it's not entirely period accurate.

      You're right, this shirt could easily be used for Julie or a modern doll as well. All the more reason to pick it up. :)

      Yes, it just seems like such a typical outfit in design to me. Nothing particularly unique about the structure of the outfit for me.

    It's not my favorite, but it definitely looks better on a doll than by itself..I almost like it.

      Hahaha! I do like it, but it's just so ordinary to me. :) I'd grab it if it went on sale, but I don't think I'd go out of my way for it. :)

    I think what proves that this is entirely a Lea outfit is that it is seen together on Ebay so often, and the shorts have her ego tag. Since they're grey market (stolen or defective or both, probably) they were most likely together at the factory too.

      That's true, this set does some to appear together pretty commonly (though just as a note, over the summer when it first appeared, it was just the shirt by itself). I do tend to think this is a set for Lea, though I'm not 100% certain.
